Lighttpd es un servidor web optimizada para entornos de velocidad crítica sin dejar de ser compatible con los estándares, seguras y flexibles. Se trata de un servidor web alternativo para apache.
Lighttpd apoya las FastCGI, SCGI y CGI interfaces con programas externos, auténtica, salida-compresión, la reescritura de URL, que permite aplicaciones web escritas en cualquier lenguaje de programación que se utiliza con el servidor. Lighttpd son los mejores servidores asíncronos conocidos. La principal ventaja del enfoque asíncrono es la escalabilidad.
Este módulo tiene como objetivo instalar la última versión del servidor Lighttpd y sus dependencias.
El comando de ayuda guía al usuario para proporcionar lo necesario para realizar la tarea. El comando para hacer uso de la ayuda debajo del terminal se da de la siguiente manera,
ptconfigure lighttpdserver help
La instantánea de abajo te da una representación pictórica de comando de ayuda y enumeró tres parámetros como LigHTTPDServer, lighttpd-servidor, lighttpdserver. (Los parámetros son mayúsculas y minúsculas)
